DCA Mini Sabre Vanes - 100 Pack
DCA Mini Sabre Vanes provide a lower profile for extra clearance, lower drag, tested control, durability, and consistency for serious hunters and archers.
Designed with flight stability, low drag and clearance as its main focus, the Mini Sabre Vanes by DCA Custom Arrows offer a unique design and superior performing vane. Developed using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and Labradar (Doppler Radar). REV 2.0 is a new material that is extremely tough that resists permanent deformation, has better adhesion, and can be used with a variety of adhesives. The Mini Sabre’s unique design has proven to be quiet, effective, and reliable making this a great choice for any archer!
Weight: 6.1 +/-0.1 Grains
Height: .465 Inches
Length: 2.0 Inches
100 Vanes Included Per Pack
In my opinion - this vane was the true standout performer in the Precision Cut Vane Study. This vane has the best balance of minimizing broadhead drift, drag while minimizing sound.
SCIENTIFICALLY DEVELOPED OVER 2 YEARS USING:
CFD - Computational Fluid Dynamics
NASA Stability Calculations
A custom wind tunnel
A LabRadar (Doppler radar)
INDIVIDUALLY MOLDED
The Super Sabres are all very consistent. Shown by the weight consistency of 6.1 +/-0.1 gr. All exactly identical. The 8-cavity mold means there will not be any shortages moving forward.
RIDICULOUSLY TOUGH MATERIAL
This is the same material used on the outside of golf balls! The material can be stretched and returned to shape. Pass-throughs on targets are no problem. It is recommended to use a Primer Pen along with Bob Smith Maxi-Cure adhesive for almost permanent bond.
Application Method
Clean the arrow shaft or wrap with a clean, dry paper towel. Do not use acetone.
Place Super Sabre in the fletching jig clamp. 2.5 degree helical is recommended as a starting point, but not required (left or right). If you are using the OMP jig and can pick either 2 or 3 degrees. Go with 2 if yu want to lean towards speed, 3 if you want to lean towards stability.
Prep the base using the Sabre Primer Pen for a rock solid almost permanent bond.
Apply a very thin continuous bead of Maxi-Cure to the base. Do not spread it out.
Using press the vane down holding it securely for 10 sec. (or recommended time on adhesive).
Unclamp the vane and wipe excess glue from around the base of the vane.
Let the adhesive cure for 10-15 min.
